What can our Killgerm training courses offer?
I think the most important thing is access to a real person who can answer specific questions and offer sensible interpretations of the various requirements in the industry. We strongly believe that interacting with an experienced tutor is the best way for people to learn.
What can delegates expect on our courses?
To be informed and entertained at the same time – we have a sense of humour as well as a sense of duty. There are of course some PowerPoint presentations but we make sure to include samples of pests, their activity, certain pest control tools, as well as our own anecdotes. We have a good selection of images and video clips which are a great way to illustrate key points.
How important are Killgerm training courses for furthering careers?
We think they are essential. The more education the better, and you can always learn something new.
What are the most popular Killgerm training courses and why?
Our principles of rodent control course is very popular due to UK rodenticide stewardship regime requirements. Our pest control refresher courses are proving popular too, with an increased interest in CPD and new developments being shown. Our RSPH Level 2 and Level 3 continue to attract a lot of attention from the industry.
Which training courses would you recommend for anyone new to the industry?
Our suite of ‘principles’ courses are a great start for newcomers to the industry. They are: Principles of rodent control, principles of insect control, safe use of pesticides and a new addition ‘introduction to pest control’ that helps people set up in business.
