Technical Support Advisor vacancy Location – Head Office, Ossett Competitive salary with benefits

Killgerm Chemicals Ltd are recruiting a Technical Support Advisor to join their technical team. Reporting to the Head of Technical Department, the main function of this role is to provide technical advice on pest control operations, products and product application techniques to customers and Killgerm colleagues.

Based within Customer Services, this role will liaise between the Technical and Customer Services departments and the position holder will act as a bridge between the two departments providing colleagues in customer services with up-to-date and accurate technical data.

Technical queries can be extremely varied and will involve questions related to: insect, rodent and bird pest biology, the use of insecticides, the use of rodenticides, the application of disinfectants and deodorants, health and safety information related to products, methods used in pesticide application, personal protective equipment, equipment maintenance, legislation, etc. The successful candidate will have experience in public health pest control and be qualified to RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management or equivalent.

You will be self-motivated, have good organisational and planning skills, a clear communicator with good telephone manner, work well within a team and have good attention to detail.
